Mountain Harbor Hostel (395.5) to Denis Cove Trail Head (420.2)

Mountain Harbor Hostel is known for having the best breakfast on the trail and it did not disappoint. It started with the best coffee I have ever had, possibly because I put six sugars and six creamer packets in it. Then came a full five-minute-long explanation of each of the more than 20 dishes. I couldn’t possibly sample everything, but I certainly tried.
I set off right after breakfast, eager to see my aunt, who had flown out to the trail to resupply me and take me to a hotel for the night.
I crossed mile 400 this day!

During the hike I met a wonderful trail angel, “Emoji”, who gave me some snacks and a cold chocolate milk. A "trail angel" is someone who helps long distance hikers by giving some form of support, called “trail magic”, which is most often food. I reached the location where I met my aunt around 7 pm, looking forward to a real meal and a warm bed.
